Kingdom Of Dreams



Kingdom of dreams (KOD) was started on 29 January 2010 in Gurgaon sec39 Haryana. It is India’s first live entertainment theater. It was inaugurated by the CM of Haryana Shree Bhupender Singh Hooda. It was publically started on 18 September 2010. On 19 September 2010 super star Sharukh Khan announced as a brand ambassador of Kingdom of dreams. There is a live show named as Zangoora, starring hussain Kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan, Kashmira Irani. Zangoora is a show case of a special preview of the bollywood music. KOD is spread over 6 acres. And it’s cost of building is approximately Rs. 2 billion.
Kingdom of dreams is run by the Great India Nautanki Company (GINC). Basically it has two theaters, Nautanki Mahal and the Showshaa Theater, and a cultural and cuisine area known as culture Gully. The theme song of commonwealth games, Jiyo Utho Bado Jeeto was also launched by composer A R Rahman with the dance performance by hussain kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan, Kashmira Irani on the theam of Zangoora on 28 august 2010.
Nautanki Mahal of KOD is designed like a palace and it has 835 seats auditorium. The theatrical production of Indian and international are staged there. The auditorium has some qualities like hydraulic stage, automated fly bars, and a matrix sound system which makes the theater experience real.
Culture Gully of kOD is spread over 9300 sq. mt. It shows the culture of India, it has theme restaurant and live kitchen from 14 states of India with their respective architecture and decore.
Showshaa Theater is a 350 seater amphitheater.
